After selection by Union Public Service Commission for Indian Foreign Services, Mr. Verma enjoyed a distinguished career beginning as Junior Diplomat in Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India culminating as Ambassador to Democratic Republic of Congo, Gabon, and the Central African Republic.

Gupta to write research papers on dryland farming, rural cooperatives
